2022

• Congregation overwhelmingly votes to move  forward with Capital Appeal to fund Building Expansion & Renovation. Reengaging with Kairos and Associates to facilitate the process. (January)


• Appeal Leadership Team established and first meeting held. (April)


• Theme chosen: “Push out the walls. Make room for what matters." (May)


• Community Leader Gathering (May 17)


• Appeal Support Teams recruited and trained

(June)


• Preparations for Fall Appeal Kick Off & 1:1 Conversations with congregation members (Summer)


• Lead Gift/Early Giving Event (September 16)

2021

• Long Range Planning issued a Request for Proposals (RFP) seeing architectural & engineering design services for building addition to consolidate staff offices and freeing up space in Narthex and Lynne Center allowing for flexibility and better use of space. Proposals requested from architects licensed in North Dakota. (February)


• Long Range Planning submitted collected proposals to Church Council on estimated building projects. Church Council approved estimate by ICON Architectural Group (Summer)


• ICON Architectural Group assembled team of design professionals to compile facility condition assessment report. (Fall)


• Per Church Council, Long Range Planning re-engaged with Kairos & Associates to assess next steps and move forward with project (Winter)

2020

• (MAP) Mission Assessment Profile Survey results shared with congregation (January 12)


• Community Leaders Gathering (January 13)


• Further Updates provided at Annual Meeting (January 26)


• Focus Group established to meet with Kairos (February)


• Long Range Planning reported to Church Council a summary of work to date and findings from Focus Group (June)
